How do I contact MELOKEA after-sales support?
For orders from melokea.com, email support@melokea.com. For Amazon orders, open Your Orders, select the order and choose Contact the Seller. Please include your order number, the PO or batch number on the label under the seat if available, a description of the issue, and clear photos or a short video. We normally reply within one business day; time zones, weekends and public holidays may affect response times.
What should I do if I receive a damaged or incorrect item?
Contact us promptly with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. Keep the received parts and packaging while we assess the issue. Do not use the chair if a structural part is damaged or the chair is unstable. We will confirm the appropriate next steps; if a replacement is unavailable, we will explain the available options.
My chair makes noise. What should I do?
Check the assembly against the instructions and make sure the screws and parts are fitted correctly. Tighten only as directed; do not overtighten or dismantle the gas lift. If the noise continues, send support@melokea.com a short video showing where it occurs. Stop using the chair if the noise is accompanied by instability or visible damage.
Why does my chair wobble?
Check that the chair is on a level surface and that the castors, base and screws are fitted as shown in the assembly instructions. If wobbling persists, stop using the chair and contact support with photos or a video. Do not attempt to repair a damaged base or gas lift yourself.
My new chair has a strong smell. What should I do?
Unpack the chair and air it in a well-ventilated room for two to three days. A mild packaging smell may reduce with ventilation, but we cannot guarantee a fixed disappearance time. If the smell remains strong or causes discomfort, stop using the chair and contact support.
A part has scratches or cracks. Is it safe to use?
A surface scratch and a structural crack are different issues. Send clear photos so we can assess the affected part. If you see a crack, deformation or damage to a load-bearing part, stop using the chair until support has advised you. We will assess whether a replacement part is needed.
Parts are missing from my order. What should I do?
Check the packaging and the parts list in the assembly instructions. Email support@melokea.com with your order number, the names or reference numbers of the missing parts, and a photo of the parts received. We will check the case and confirm how the missing components can be supplied.
The chair feels uncomfortable. What can I do?
Adjust the seat height and, where your model allows, the seat depth, backrest, lumbar support and armrests. Refer to the model’s instructions and take regular breaks. For help with the settings, send the model name and photos of the chair’s adjustment positions; you do not need to appear in the photos. If discomfort persists, stop using the chair and contact support to discuss the available options.

This model is designed for higher loads and has a 56 cm wide seat. The source specifications list a steel base tested up to 1,136 kg and a 72 cm base for stability. Compare the seat dimensions with your measurements before choosing.
Can I adjust the recline and back support to suit my needs?
The backrest can be locked continuously between 90° and 130°. The lumbar support adjusts vertically by 2 cm, and the separate lumbar cushion provides additional support.
What is the seat cushion made of, and how does it feel during longer use?
